Who should attend the training?The training program is for committee members or club administrators. We recommend two people from each club attend, however, attendance by one person from each club is still beneficial. Is implementing a sports safety program complicated?Our sports safety program is very simple, flexible and practical. Participants don’t need any prior experience with safety management to develop their Safeclub manual. What type of safety issues will be addressed?SafeClub allows clubs to deal with the safety issues (on and off the field) that are most relevant to their club. Examples include carparks, canteens, ground conditions or anything else their club is concerned about. ![]() What happens after the training event?Participants leave the training with a club specific safety manual which addresses the needs of their club and assists them with the implementation stage. Continual advice and support is available both during and after the training from the SafeClub facilitators. How much does it cost?$120 per person Can SafeClub be run in regional areas?Yes. A modified version of Safeclub has been developed for clubs in regional areas. Costs may vary depending on location and time. Where and when does the training occur?SafeClub training is usually delivered in partnership with the relevant sporting association at a convenient venue such as their local sports facility. Training usually occurs in the evenings. |
